Should everything go to plan, the German Bundesliga will return on Saturday as they look to complete the 2019/20 campaign in full.

At the moment, Bayern lead the way at the top of the table, four points ahead of Dortmund, and they have been in sensational form since the winter break, winning 14 of their 15 matches in all competitions.

Their sensational attacking displays have meant that some key players have seen their FC Ratings dramatically increase as a result, and it's no surprise to see their squad dominate the highest-rated FC players so far this season.

Robert Lewandowski has been in astonishing form this season, scoring 25 goals in 23 appearances so far, as well as contributing three assists.

The Pole's goals have skyrocketed his rating but it is not only the amount of goals scored, but the importance of them; in terms of decisive goals, he leads the rankings with nine.

Lewandowski may not affect the play too much in other areas such as chance creation, or even completed passes, but who cares when you average more than a goal a game?

Serge Gnabry continues to mock the Gunners' decision to let him go with his performances in the Bundesliga as he has been one of the revelations of the campaign.

With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery both leaving Bayern last summer, someone had to step up and Gnabry has already achieved that. He has been named Man of the Match on seven occasions for Bayern, which is bettered only by Timo Werner of RB Leipzig, and has contributed to 20 goals via nine scored himself and 11 assists.

In terms of Big Chances Created, he is second only to Thomas Muller, with an average of 1.1 per game. Despite not being a natural centre-forward, usually being deployed on the wing, nobody in the Bundesliga has averaged more touches inside the opposition box than Gnabry's score of 9.9 - not even Lewandowski.

While the above two players will probably grab most of the headlines, another spectacular performer this campaign for Bayern has been Thiago Alcantara in midfield.

Very much the orchestrator from deeper areas, he has developed into a midfield metronome arguably as good as anyone in Europe.

He averages 92.3 passes P90 with a completion rate of 90%, with 23.8 of these passes being sent into the final third. Due to Bayern enjoying the majority of possession in nearly every game, he is not needed as much as other players in the defensive side of things. But, he is still within the top six players who have made the most ball recoveries P90, with 9.9.

Jadon Sancho (99)

No Bundesliga discussion can exist without Jadon Sancho, who has enjoyed a superstar campaign, who has made 29 contributions in the form of 14 goals and 15 assists, the highest total of anyone in Germany.

He creates 0.7 Big Chances per game, with that score given more context by the fact that nobody in the league sends more passes into the final third than him, with 28.6 per game. BVB attempt to win the ball back as quickly as possible via high pressing, with Sancho also contributing 4.2 ball recoveries and 0.7 interceptions per game.

After being regularly left out of the starting XI by Niko Kovac, Thomas Muller has turned his season around after the Croatian's departure to become the assist king of the Bundesiiga. With Lewandowski now the main man for Bayern in terms of goalscoring, Muller has become the provider, laying on 16 goals for his team-mates in a hugely productive season. In Europe's top five leagues, that is only bettered by Kevin De Bruyne of Man City (17).

He also leads the way for the most Big Chances Created P90, with 1.3. Muller makes the chances, Lewandowski finishes them.
