RB Leipzig remain top of the Bundesliga following a superb 3-0 win away in Bremen, while Robert Lewandowski remains the best striker in the country - maybe in the continent.

Is Lewandowski still underrated? Nine goals in five league games, the Pole is showing no signs of slowing down, and he was the star of the show against Koln, scoring twice and generally making it a miserable afternoon for their defence. After signing a new deal recently, expect Lewy to continue scoring at this rate for a few years to come.

Monchengladbach were toiling at home to Dusseldorf before the arrival of Thuram off the bench to salvage proceedings. His first was a well-timed sweep home into the net, and he was in the right place to seal the win with three minutes remaining. After a horror defeat in the Europa League this was exactly what Gladbach needed to bounce back.

Another team needing to bounce back, Leverkusen, were much better in their defeat of Union Berlin and Wendell was the key player in their victory. His pass completion rate was extremely high - 97 from 104 - while providing a key assist to ensure that his team picked up the win against the promoted side.

Coutinho is slowly but surely finding his feet at Bayern and this was his best performance of the season so far. He slotted home a penalty to get on the scoresheet as well as providing an assist as his team recorded a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Koln.

Witsel is proving to be one of the most important elements of this Dortmund team - with so much attacking talent, there needs to be a counterpoint and while Dortmund failed to win, he provided the platform to go forward. Witsel slid superbly into the corner to open the scoring and it was his intelligent slip across goal that gave Jadon Sancho a simple finish.
