Chelsea announced a new manager on Tuesday with the news that former Dortmund and PSG boss Thomas Tuchel had been hired to replace the dismissed Frank Lampard.

With the Blues languishing midtable in the Premier League, the FA Cup win versus Luton was not enough to save Lampard from the sack the day after.

Now, Tuchel takes over, and his first match in charge will be against Wolves in the league on Wednesday evening.

Even though he has been there for one day, you can bet he will already attempt to mould the Chelsea team into his image.

There won't be a high amount of changes from the weekend as Chelsea played a strong side against Luton, at least in an attacking sense.

One alteration that will likely happen is the introduction of Kai Havertz, possibly for Hakim Ziyech.

Tammy Abraham has earned his place in the starting XI after scoring a hat-trick on Sunday.

One of the major factors in Chelsea pursuing Tuchel is that they believe he can get the best out of his compatriots, Havertz and Werner, so expect those two to feature heavily in his starting line-ups from now until the end of the season.

Tuchel used to work with Christian Pulisic at Dortmund, too, so will probably be another favourite.

Billy Gilmour, despite impressing versus Luton, will likely drop to the bench to be replaced by Jorginho. N'Golo Kante is not yet fit to return after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger, who have been the first choice central defensive pairing in the Premier League recently, will come back in for Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen.

Emerson will drop out for Ben Chilwell, while Edouard Mendy will replace Kepa in goal.

Though Werner will likely start on the left with Pulisic on the right, the three behind Abraham are interchangeable so expect the American to pop up on the left too.
